G33K Out: Gallifrey One 2018

podcast

If you know me at all, you know I’ve been a fan of Doctor Who for most of my life. I’ve written about it extensively, whether it’s my “Love Letter to Doctor Who for the 50th anniversary, or my editorial on how my feelings changed over the years titled “Looking at ‘Doctor Who’ Series 9: Breaking Up is Hard to Do”.

So, when I had the chance at a ticket for this year’s Gallifrey One, I jumped at the chance.

Gallifrey One is the world’s largest and longest-running annual Doctor Who fan convention, with this being its 29th year. I actually had only started hearing about it back in 2013, when Travis Richey mentioned it in my very first G33K Out podcast. However, this was the first year I had been able to afford tickets, thankfully in part to their ticket transfer options back in March.

Here are my thoughts for my first time attending.
